Creature Hesh Law

Creature Skateboards has a reeeally rad line this fall including artists series from the hilarious Jay Howell and Norwegian Black Metal photo boards from Peter Beste. I’ve never bought a board just to hang on a wall, but I think I may have to this time around. At least for the practice space, shit. Those Beste decks are COLD!

Stay Hungry, Stay Foolishy

I wanted to write something for Steve on the machine that I use everyday. Today is that day, after I walked past the apple store and saw piles of apples (the fruit) and tons of post it notes stuck to the window by random passer-bys.

“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice.” – Steve Jobs

Fucking Rad Value

“Street value: 10-15 bucks. Fuckin rad value: millions and millions of dollars.” Aaron Draplin runs DDC, a respected design group in Portland. Here he talks about his collection of old packaging and sad state that design in this sector is in now. God is in the details.

Life Splicing

This vid been circulating for a min now, but damn its great to watch. Nick Boserio turns it up a notch- hauling ass in and out of every trick with a haphazard style that’s somehow just works. I have no idea how he rolls away from some of these tricks. Crazy Aussie is killing it and seems to be a nice addition to the ever evolving Workshop.

GHUNTxM83

Yea, we dig music that sounds as if the world is ending or beginning…who doesn’t right? That’s not why I’m posting this video. I’m posting the video because Greg Mother Fucking Hunt directed this and I can’t help the joy I feel when skate rat filmers/photogs become “film makers” or “directors” Obviously, he’s beyond just some up and coming filmer, this isn’t 1995. And if you’ve seen any of his films in the skate world you know his vision and talent, this video is just a small splice. It’s just nice to see dudes getting other work outside the skate industry. I’m stoked, sharing the stoke.
