Smells Like Christ Spirit

That time of year again, work Christmas parties are in full effect, people are making their “best of” 2011 mixes, holiday shopping guides, you know, all that interweb stuff. Well, now that we’re trying to make an honest living over here at Radlands, I guess its time we offered our expertise on all this too. Cause you know, we know our shit.

In the next week stay tuned for our “Holiday Bangers” shopping guide, Ripping New Mixes to download from our new music writer (if he gets off the devils lettuce and out of his tweaker den long enough to hit us with a crucial blast),Predictions for 2012 (end times?) and other spirited updates for the season.

To kick things off, Jay Howell is selling Christmas cards through the UK based HUH website.

Winter Harvest

One last bonfire was needed before hell freezes over. A few weeks ago we headed out to Harelysville, PA for a little nature and barn life. burn stuff, tear up fields, drink whiskey cider, barn life jams and a close call with the state troopers.

Patrick Blake handled the photography, Linda Smyth and Kim Chin styled it out, The Dusters squad made sure bikes were ripping and off roadage stayed muddy, Kelly, Madeline and Christina and the bros wore it well . Thanks to all who helped out and came out for a fun little fall ender.
Welcome winter, you cold hearted bastard.

Seasons Teaser

I’m finally getting around to sharing this teaser for Seasons Skateshop in my good ol’ home town of Albany NY. Looks like these guys are well on there way to a full length in the new year. Albany has had a vibrant skate scene for as long as I can remember, but it didn’t always have a skater owned/legit shop supplying the scene. Back in the day you had to hide your face and go to the mall to get gear, or save up $$ and stock up when you made trips to NYC or Mass. The times have changed, thankfully, and you can actually have the option of a local shop who stocks only the best. And the result? The shop backs talented locals. These guys fucking rip and know how to put out quality videos.
